Chapter 1

We’re sitting on the couch, chatting about all sorts of things. Somehow, the conversation comes back to relationships and the fact that she’s never been with a woman. She talks about it with a nervous smile.

I ask, studying the wall in front of me:

"Would you want to, though?"

She starts talking quickly, still smiling nervously—something about not knowing, never having thought about it…

I look at her. She goes quiet. And then:

“Yes.”

A pause. I hold her gaze and smile a little.

“With me?”

Another pause.

“Yes.”

I look away for a couple of seconds, still smiling, but now to myself. Then I look back at her and pat my lap with both hands—come here.

She gets up, comes over, and sits on my lap.

Her legs wrap around me—so sweet…

I can feel how tense she is. Usually so confident, active, almost unflappable—now she isn’t even smiling… As if she’s waiting to see what I’ll do next.

I place my hands on her collarbones and slowly slide them toward her shoulders. Then lower, down along her arms. I catch every tiny movement, every little shiver. Easy. Don’t spook her.

Reaching a little past her elbows, I slide my hands back up and start gently working her shoulders. She closes her eyes. A few more movements, and the tension under my hands slowly starts to ease…

I move higher, toward her neck. She gets softer, more pliant. Then my hands slide into her hair. A breath slips from her lips, almost a moan—but no, just a breath.

And then I grab her hair in both fists. Do you trust me?

She understands what I want and yields. I tilt her head forward, then back, then guide it in a circle. She’s like a doll in my hands, following my lead, letting me guide her… And gradually, she stops trying to control every movement.

That’s it.

Then I slowly come to a stop, loosen my fingers, and release her hair. My hand moves to her face. Barely touching her, I run my fingertips across her forehead, toward her temple, then lower…

All the while, I’m taking her in.

So refined...

So sexy…

As I reach her cheek, I spread my fingers and take her face in one hand, my thumb on one cheek and the rest of my fingers on the other. A few strokes up and down—and my grip tightens.

There you are, little bird. Caught.

I hold her. There’s power in it… And she doesn’t resist. I like the way she surrenders to me. Soft little bird…

I pull her closer. And our lips meet…

At first, the kiss is light, almost cautious. I lower my arms and go completely limp beneath her… You’re free.

And now she’s the one who wraps her arms around my neck and leans over me, keeping the kiss going—insistent, hungry…

So this is what you’re really like…

There’s so much soft, fluid grace in her—in the curve of her back, in the way she wraps her whole body around me...

I bring my hands to her waist, then slide them down and take a firm hold of her hips. I can feel her body beneath my palms—and at some point, I get so hot that I break the kiss myself and sigh…

She turns slightly to the side and presses her forehead into the couch beside my head, still moving under my hands. I hear her breathing right by my ear, and it turns me on more and more…

My little bird. She was so tense, so wary just moments ago—and now I’m the one melting beneath her like ice cream…
